Step Beyond the Curb and tour the beautiful home of Georgia Darby in the Kiawah River community of South Carolina. This home reflects the breezy elegance of low country design—light, airy, and fresh with soft coastal colors that feel both modern and timeless.
Join us as we explore how Kiawah River living blends natural beauty, coastal charm, and a warm sense of community. I have been fortunate enough to stay with my family friends who live there, but now many are flocking to this low country community for the elegant Dunlin Auberge Hotel. Visitors and residents alike can enjoy nature walks, tennis and pickle ball courts, rosebank farms, and even charming riverfront bungalows available to rent that showcase the best of coastal South Carolina living.

The Tour:

Kiawah River
The Spring House
This is where they have a pool, gym, and light lunch and drinks. All designed to perfection.

The Dunlin
The new Auberge resort. A great spot for evening cocktails and morning coffee.

The Bungalows
Great bungalows situated on the beautiful river available to rent! They are privately owned, so not a part of The Dunlin hotel, but a stone’s throw away! You can use the Spring House and the amenities of Kiawah River. Can rent HERE
Rosebank Farm
Great fresh produce, prepared foods like chicken salad, and baked goods. An easy grab and go. One of the best tomatoes I have ever had!

The Goatery
Such a fun visit to see the goats and chickens on property. They also make fresh goat’s milk and cheese.

Tennis and Pickle Ball Courts

The beautiful homes and low country nature

Such a beautiful place!
