Potted boxwood and abundant white hydrangeas. All very simple and beautiful.
In this “greiged to death” world (a reader came up with this term and I love it), sometimes we need to see splashes of color. This English country cottage is full of just that. Colorful walls and gorgeous pattern are the canvas for classic antiques and layers of collected items.
Each room comes with its own unique ambiance. Designer Sarah Vanrenen transformed a 300 year old Wiltshire farm house into a vibrant oasis of comfort with edgy surprises at every turn. I figure we could all use a colorful pick-me-up this Monday. Now if only we could be curled up with a good book inside this charming home.

Tiled floors, antique chest, and a bold pop of chartreuse lamp shades.
Perfection.
This bathroom is just beyond stunning in Penny Morrison’s ‘Flower Berry’,
Oversized lamps and plush layered fabrics.
I really admire her adventurous use of color.
