This new home tour is a treasure trove of chicly collected interiors, exquisite landscape, and an abundance of joyful ambience. When my darling friend introduced me to Sims Wachholz, I knew that her home was something worthy for all of us to experience. With the help of Jennie Hugo of Crosby Designs, Sims created a jewel in Jacksonville, Florida. Her 1925 home is eye-catching at every turn.

Springing into Summer

Hi friends! I have a fun beach house tour to be posted Friday and the PAINT blog post is coming Monday! In the meantime, I thought I would share a few things that have caught my eye recently. Kitchen Current

Besides what paint color to use, I often get asked about backsplash. It seems there is always a balance between what is trendy, what is timeless, and what is out of style completely. Do you continue the marble as the backsplash? Do you tile it? Do you mirror it? Do you do marble tile? Is subway tile out of date? What about the small tile trend? I don’t have official answers to those questions, but I do know what my eyes are drawn to.
