Like every city, there are certain homes that you just can’t help but adore. This Dallas home I am about to share with you is one of them. On a very quiet street in the middle of University Park, lies this enchanting property that feels like it could easily be in the french provencal countryside. In the spring, wisteria falls from the front trellis patio, the boxwoods grow abundantly in terracotta pots, and the patina of the paint against the sophisticated blue shutters blends into the natural elements.

This is a home I have posted serval times on my instagram feed, so it was a true privilege when premier real estate agent Susan Baldwin of Allie Beth Allman called me to tour her latest listing. She knew how much I loved this home, and I couldn’t wait to get inside.

Designed by Katie Collins of Collins & Sweezy, the interior beautifully reflects the exterior. It has soft hues, pretty patterns, and yet feels refreshing and not overly stifled. Like the home itself, there is a an air of authenticity in the design. For some, it would be easy to go overboard with the decor, but Katie skillfully allowed the light, landscape, and rich architecture shine through with beautiful pieces to compliment.
