In my mind, a desert home is very synonymous with a modern home. I picture lots of windows, lots of light, and a great play of contrast. White walls, ebony floors, and the perfect balance of minimalism and splashes pattern. I picture big thick slabs of marble, and an even bigger infusion of texture. Let’s not forget, there is also a splash of old Hollywood that would have every Palm Springs home with a sunken bar, oversized ice cubes, and a splash of glamour.
