Graduation Gift Guide

This is not a typical year to graduate. I really feel for those who are experiencing their senior year of high school and college this year. That said, we can still keep it special for them. With the hope of the return to school in the fall and of starting new jobs, we can celebrate and shower our graduates with encouragement. I have rounded-up some of my favorite graduation finds. My goal was to make them useful and unique. With a range of prices, you are sure to find something for all the grads in your life!

#ChicinDallas Garden Goals

Hi Friends! Get ready. You are in for a treat today. I am very excited to share a very “Potted Boxwood” Dallas garden with you. One of my fabulous followers, Jill Grover, saw I posted her gorgeous potted boxwood by her front door this past fall. She then invited me to come back in the spring when her white roses were in bloom in her backyard. Abiding by social distancing, I recently slipped through her side gate and was immediately transformed into an absolutely gorgeous garden.

Work from Home

Miles Redd
The new normal is probably one of the most overused phrases right now, yet it rings true for all of us. A majority of us are spending more time at home, noticing more ways that our spaces may need tweaking. I basically wear workout clothes by day (even if I don’t workout…oops), switch into lounge clothes for the evening, and pajamas by night.

Be Mine

While January seemed like the longest month, it also flew by in may ways. I can’t even believe we are approaching Valentine’s Day, putting us half way through February. Today, I wanted to share some pretty rooms, homes and items that I have been coveting. I want them all to be mine 🙂

River in Review

Happy New Year! It has been awhile since I have been back with you all. I really did my best to focus on being present with family and friends in the holiday season. If you follow me on Instagram, you know I recently returned from a Viking river cruise on the Danube with my family (mom, dad, and grandmother). It had been a “bucket list” trip that we have been wanting to do for years, especially during the holidays to see the Christmas markets. I am so happy to be able to share and review my trip with you all today.

Tablescape Time

TABLE 2
I don’t know about you all, but I am in the process of getting my table Thanksgiving ready.  I am not setting it just yet, but I am ordering everything I need to make my table a little more fun this year. A regal purple chintz tablecloth, blue & white vases filled with apricot roses, mirrored chargers and more. I have included many of my favorites below. I also added “Tablescape” to my blog menu to make it an easy reference!
