Some tours are extra special, especially when they are done with friends. This is why I am so excited to bring you another Beyond the Curb home tour with my friend Amity Gillespie. This tour is brought to us by Davis Hawn Lumber. Davis Hawn with Lynn Floyd Millwork created the exquisite custom front door, as well as the windows and doors in the sun room. I met Amity through my close friend Emily, and it is safe to say we’ve been inseparable since. I will never forget when we first went on a walk together. I was going through a difficult time personally, and met Amity at her home being built.  I could immediately tell it was going to be something special. She is a big believer in choosing joy and that is evident not only in her personality, but in the vibrance and warmth of her home. Amity also runs a really spirit-filled Bible study here in Dallas, and together we share it on Influenced by Grace. I think you will see the parallels between Amity’s enthusiasm in life and in her design.
