I recently was given an opportunity to style a bed for a Dallas store called Lily Lane Home. Immediately upon pulling up to the store you are greeted with two large potted boxwood at the entrance. It is filled with Belle Notte linens, Dash and Albert rugs, Juliska tableware, and all things luxurious. It is also filled with a pair of antique twin beds that I desperately want to purchase (see below). Entering the store makes you want to get in your softest pajamas and jump into a luxe bed full of fresh and textured pillows.
Since this was the “April bed of the month,” I decided to keep it fresh with white coverlet and sheets, and added shades of grays, (April showers), and blues, (spring skies). The bed is an ideal place to curl up on an April day and read a good book. It is refreshing, calming, and comfortable. If you are in the Dallas area, come take a peak, and if you aren’t, be sure to visit their website!
The April Bed of the month. A soft white coverlet perfect for spring, with a gray velvet blanket at the end of the bed, topped with a white bolster pillow. The pillows on the bed are a variety of velvet, matelasse, and linen in blues and grays.
A mini potted boxwood with beautiful blue and white porcelain (available in the store).
A variety of textures, patterns, and colors. Don’t the pillows just look so plush and inviting?
A chic display of blue, white and boxwood.
The crushed velvet coverlet and white bolster pillow.
I adore this tufted bed! Don’t you just want to splash into this array of pillows?
THE STORE
Blues, greens, and grays on display with these summery scarfs.
A dreamy four poster bed with large neck roll bolster.
An inviting Easter tablescape. Full of bunny and beauty!
Fresh french lavender.
A fabulous collection of Juliska greets you at the door!
Dash & Albert Rugs. So many to choose from and in such fabulous patterns!
A sweet crib on display.
NOW, down to serious business. I want this headboard. Like…REALLY want this headboard. French antique, hand-painted and exquisite. Sadly, it is a twin, but it comes as a pair. Together, they make a queen. Thoughts, comments, advice, suggestions?!?
Isn’t this dreamy? I think my dreams would be better if I bought it. Obviously, your dreams are related to how pretty your bed is, right?
So, if you are in Dallas pop down on Travis street and see the bed. You have my permission to indulge in some cajun chicken at Le Bilboquet next door!
