I love a luxe listing, and the fact I was able to see this estate in Litchfield was an absolute ‘pinch myself” moment. It is not everyday that you see a home complete with a museum worthy gallery, a pool house, a guest house, a caretaker’s house and 51 acres of gorgeous grounds. At a price tag of $20 million, it is a true display of craftsmanship.
I was fortunate to experience this through my friend Lauren, who works with Laura Hunt. They set up a tour of two beautiful homes for sale by Klemm Real Estate that are serious wow-worthy listings. Cody O’Kelly was so gracious to spend the day taking us through this art collectors compound. The previous owner lived her life in dedication to art, which is apparent within every detail of the home. I shared some of my favorite glimpses below, but you can learn even more about the property HERE.
Just the right amount of charm to tie into the neighborhood, but inside is a true display of craftsmanship mixed with a modern twist.
The grounds were my absolute favorite part of this property.
A boxwood dream.
The hand-laid tile work is just another example of the intricate detail throughout the house.
The kitchen was simple, letting the floor steel the show.
I wish I could have captured just how vast the property is.
What a wonderful place to stop in from the garden to pot some flowers.
Guest bathroom in the guest house. It felt like I was in a doll house. Every bit charming and functional.
The top floor of the pool house was home to hundreds of books on art and collections. Pathway to the pool.
This gallery on property housed one of the top 200 private galleries in the world.
Notice how the stairs in the gallery narrow as they go up.
