Art and design truly go hand in hand. A beautiful home lays the perfect backdrop for spectacular art, and spectacular art can lay the perfect foundation for a beautiful home. This is why I am so thrilled to be chairing an art fundraiser that actually benefits a really wonderful cause. The night will benefit student scholarships at a privately funded school that serves Pre-K to 8th grade students, West Dallas Community School. These students live in the 75212 zip code, a historically underserved neighborhood in West Dallas.
Once they graduate, many receive scholarships to local private high schools. This helps break the cycle of a broken Dallas public school system that so often fails students in these harder neighborhoods.
