I could seriously transplant here, not change one thing, and be completely content. My schedule is still non-stop, so the idea of a lovely English townhouse filled with laid back luxury, chic antiques, and delft dreams sounds like the perfect summer escape. I find the townhouse of Lady Wakefield (just sounds so chic) is full of incredible inspiration. Note the marble molding, the soft English prints, and the displays of timeless collections. If you want to know where my head is today- it is a constant rotation of these fabulous images via English House & Garden.

Absolutely in love. Lady Wakefield has great displays of blue and white.
Marble moldings on the ceiling (something you see throughout the home), antique rugs, and infusions of color.
Fabulous artwork provides the perfect juxtaposition to the more causal slip covered sofa.
How sharp is the marble against that blue stained wood?! Ahhh
Interior column.
The conservatory. This may be the most ideal space I have ever seen. Doubtful any guests would ever want to leave.
Master bedroom serenity.
Total British charm.
