Beyond the Christmas Curb with Navy Blooms

I am so excited to bring you a very colorful and festive Christmas tour. Keely Vendig of Navy Blooms spends most of November and December decking her clients’ homes for the holidays. She has all the tricks to make trees, garlands, and tabletops wow worthy for Christmas. In this tour, she even shows us an incredible bow tutorial that is not to be missed. Beyond the Preservation with Meredith Ferrell
I have been speaking up on my social media platforms about the lack of preservation around Dallas, and many have commented that it is happening in other cities as well. So often, it is hard for young families to envision how you can make a historic home relevant for a modern lifestyle. I am thrilled to be able to bring you a perfect example of how a family did just that.

Chic Peek with AnnBlair Housefield

The minute you meet AnnBlair Housefield, you want to be in her orbit. She is magnetic, charming, funny, and effortlessly chic. Her home equally embodies all those qualities. Despite being a 1946 home lightly touched up over the years, this West Highland Park home in Dallas is still very relevant. AnnBlair was not afraid to use color, especially in the two darling girls’ nurseries featured. This is an ideal example of young family making fresh waves in an older home without losing the intended aesthetic.
Kips Bay Dallas 2021

Kips Bay has made its way back to Dallas this year. I truly enjoyed every aspect of the exterior design of this home, as well these favorite interior moments I featured below. Show houses give designers the capacity to design without limits, so I always find it insightful what they choose to do. This home had so many beautiful and complimenting layers. I know you will love to see.
Chic Peek with Lacy Lange
The Chic Peek I am about to share with you today is bold in color, bright in personality, and all around refreshing in its charm. Homeowner Lacy Lange did a spectacular job transforming her home into a wow worthy project. She was not shy with her use of color, texture, and art. This tour is a true delight!
Beyond The Curb with Susan Baldwin

Like every city, there are certain homes that you just can’t help but adore. This Dallas home I am about to share with you is one of them. On a very quiet street in the middle of University Park, lies this enchanting property that feels like it could easily be in the french provencal countryside. In the spring, wisteria falls from the front trellis patio, the boxwoods grow abundantly in terracotta pots, and the patina of the paint against the sophisticated blue shutters blends into the natural elements.
Planter Perfect
Many of my favorite homes have something in common- they have big beautiful planters out front. There is something about the symmetry of planters flanking a front door or entryway that really sets a home a part. Today, I have rounded up some of my favorite planters with all price points, as well as some beautiful inspiration from my latest walks around Dallas, and some from Palm Beach and South Carolina as well.
Beyond The Listing with Meredith Ferrell
You know when you continue to hear someone’s name come up over and over again? Well, that is how I finally reached out to Meredith Ferrell. She is a top real estate agent here in Dallas whose style is very on brand with my own. We recently toured her 1940’s home that she renovated with her husband and two young children. With the help of builder Isler Homes and designer Lindley Arthur, they made it classic, chicly colorful and warmly comfortable.
