Holiday Storage
As I am going through my garage getting out my Christmas decor, I am noticing how I am in definite need for some better holiday storage. I recently went on Walmart Home to look for a better way to store my Christmas tree, ornaments, wreaths, and even lights.
Christmas Gift Guide 2021
Welcome to Part One of the 2021 Christmas Gift Guide. It is hard to believe we have arrived at this season already. I have more items to share, but thought it would be nice to get a head start since there are shipping delays. I will continue to add on to the gift guide and feature special favorites for Black Friday and Cyber Monday.
Collected Interiors by Philip Mitchell
True story- Philip Mitchell was one of my very first followers on instagram. I launched The Potted Boxwood in 2014 and like attracted like. A Canadian, Philip would post pictures of his chic Toronto apartment and charming country home. In fact, his small but beautifully designed kitchen became one of my most favorite pictures and most popular repost. So when I heard Philip was launching a coffee table book, I knew it would be equally tasteful and inspiring.

Christmas Decor 2021
While it may seem early to post Christmas decor in October, it was a top request from many followers. With the delays in shipping, now is the time to get a head start! From what I have seen, things are already selling out. I have selected my favorite Christmas decor picks for this year in a variety of price points.
Chic Peek with AnnBlair Housefield
The minute you meet AnnBlair Housefield, you want to be in her orbit. She is magnetic, charming, funny, and effortlessly chic. Her home equally embodies all those qualities. Despite being a 1946 home lightly touched up over the years, this West Highland Park home in Dallas is still very relevant. AnnBlair was not afraid to use color, especially in the two darling girls’ nurseries featured. This is an ideal example of young family making fresh waves in an older home without losing the intended aesthetic.
Collaborations by Ferguson & Shamanian Architects
I believe that when you see quality architecture, it can stand alone in warmth and beauty without a single decor item added to the home. Of course, when the interior design and landscape is uniquely woven into the architectural style of the home, it can be incredibly magical. Whenever I think of truly outstanding architecture, Ferguson & Shamanian is always first to mind. That is why I couldn’t be more excited about their gorgeous new book Collaborations: Architecture, Interiors, Landscapes. It is a treasure trove of their beautiful architectural projects all across the country.
