Sunday Shopping: London Edition

Hi Friends! I am currently getting the gift guide ready to launch this week, but wanted to share a bit of what I bought, brought, shopped, and dined on a trip to London with my friend and interior designer Pam Kelley.

You can see her home tour HERE and HERE again for Christmas.

There is a brand new tour TODAY (11/12) on YouTube. Be sure to subscribe to my channel to be the first to see my latest tours.

My previous London guide is HERE.

New additions will be added by the end of the week, along with recommendations from my followers.

Starting off with some of my favorite London photos for architecture, then a few pictures from our visit to Amersham, our London hotel, what we bought and brought, some of our favorite shopping stops, and a brief selection of restaurants and fun hotel bars.

My favorite architecture pictures of the trip:

The most fabulous pub discovered visiting friends in Amersham.

fish and chips!

Amersham door front

A very darling town

Our hotel:

The Langham. We absolutely loved our stay.

Brought and Bought

Pam is wearing my favorite wrap to travel- chic, soft, and affordable. Makes a great gift.

We also both bring silk pillowcases to put on the plane pillow, or any pillow you bring. Makes a nice difference!

These are my favorite ivory slacks. They come full length too. Also, in other colors.

The sweater underneath is linked here. I own in multiple colors. They hold up so nicely.

The jacket was a purchase I bought there– I love the length and the cinch. I know I will wear it for years to come.

These boots have been a staple in my wardrobe recently. Dressed up or dressed down. They also come in a smaller heel height too.

Pam has such great travel style!

The cape is a favorite of mine as well.

Her boots are Ann Mashburn.

Many questions on Pam’s travel crossbody. It lays flat and holds a great deal!

Shopping

Around the corner from Claridge’s: Gray’s Antique market. Amazing finds, including estate jewelry.

Portobello Road

very touristy, but a few gems

Portobello Print & Map Shop

 the most beautiful botanical prints

Harvey Nichols

Pam and I both bought a raincoat from this brand. The most ideal weight and material!!

Still thinking about this evening gown. This one too

Harrods

We had a light lunch at the Prada cafe at Harrods. The food was truly spectacular.

The food halls are some of my favorite thing at Harrods.

Fortum & Mason

Always fun, especially during the holidays. They have the most beautiful marzipan, but what I always leave with are their cards. Some of the prettiest selection I have ever seen.

Liberty of London

such a beautiful store with great shopping finds

This bag was butter soft and the most gorgeous color.

I bought this lipstick. Apparently it is the brand Margot Robbie wore in the Barbie movie. Really pretty pigment.

Pam and I saw these bags everywhere and we thought they were so beautiful!

This wrap would make a lovely gift.

All the liberty print.

DINING AND DRINKING

Afternoon stop: Claridge’s bar

best beef tartare…I have ever had

Daphne’s

chic restaurant and great Italian food

When you finish at Harrod’s, grab a drink and some zucchini  frites at Harry’s Bar.

Bunch of Grape’s is a great pub close to Harrods and Harvey Nichols.

We had a really lovely dinner at Clarke’s, a restaurant recommended by a local friend. I think we were the only non Brits in there. The food was simple, yet lovely.

You can take a walk through the park for after dinner drinks at my favorite bar in London, the Connaught Bar. The bar that is straight back to the left. The only time I order a martini, mainly because it comes in a chic cart. Fabulous people watching.

Dinner: Petersham Covent Garden

A lovely atmosphere, great meal, and on the sweetest tucked away street.

others to note-

Dishoom and Amaya Grill & Bar were highly recommended for Indian style food! Going back in December and plan to go.

Hamyard Hotel

just popped in to see the decor

Thought it would be fun to share a little bit! Have a lovely Sunday
