Despite all the downsides to the widespread presence of social media these days, I am thankful for all the good I get to see from the community The Potted Boxwood has created on Instagram. This is a community of people who love timelessly chic design and beautiful things, and I love getting to personally engage with every follower and reader that reaches out. So when Courtney Petit invited me over to take a look at her home designed by Shelley Johnstone, I was curious to take a peek. I was so glad when I did, and I think you will be, too! Beyond The Curb: Ann Wolf Interior Decoration

What is one thing that Houston has that Dallas does not? Ann Wolf. In fact, I feel confident in saying that Ann Wolf is one of the greatest living designers of our time. Big statement, I know. Once you see this tour, I think you will agree with me. Her home is a magnificent statement of impeccable and timeless American architecture. The interiors are carefully crafted, yet comfortable and graciously inviting. Ann’s sophisticated collections will leave you in awe and her knowledge of antiques and design is unparalleled.

If you follow @thepottedboxwood on instagram, I recently started the Chic Peek series that highlights the everyday homes and practical finds of friends and followers. Our first tour yesterday was with Daley Bennett at her timeless and lovingly restored Dallas home. She generously shared the sources for some of her vibrant paint colors, rugs, and impressionist art…I was amazed to see her beautiful high quality pieces from Etsy and Ebay!
