Hi friends! It has been awhile since I posted. I can assure you there is a lot happening behind the scenes for The Potted Boxwood. I have been in the midst of a move, launching my dishware collection, getting the gift guide ready for the holidays, and filming home tours that are now ready to launch (you will even get to see my own home tour soon)!
So many of you have been ready for the home tours to begin again, and they are officially back!
The moment I met the darling family who lived in this historic home, I knew it had to be a tour on The Potted Boxwood. I am actively involved in Preservation Park Cities, alongside Dallas real estate agent Lucinda Buford. She was kind enough to take us through this incredible University Park home that was thoughtfully designed by the talented Bonnie Jones.
I am so excited to bring y’all a charming and colorful Atlanta home tour. Interior designer Whitney Durham takes us through her vibrant cottage and backyard oasis. Around every corner is a fantastic painting and unique space that beckons you to curl up with a cup of coffee.
Some tours are extra special, especially when they are done with friends. This is why I am so excited to bring you another Beyond the Curb home tour with my friend Amity Gillespie. This tour is brought to us by Davis Hawn Lumber. Davis Hawn with Lynn Floyd Millwork created the exquisite custom front door, as well as the windows and doors in the sun room. You can see beautiful close-up details in the tour, as well as in the pictures below. Continue reading “Beyond the Curb with Amity Gillespie by Davis Hawn Lumber”
I am thrilled to bring you this tour that has been in the works for quite some time! The darling Leslie Jenkins of Jenkins Interiors restored a beautiful Fort Worth home using her signature elements of playful pattern and color, all while keeping the home traditionally fresh.
Almost two years ago I was in Fort Worth, Texas and spotted the most beautiful new construction I have seen in years. Fast forward an instagram post later, and interior designer Tori Rubinson was so gracious as to show me inside her gorgeous new home that she designed for her young family.
Visiting the beach on 30A in the panhandle of Florida is always a treat, especially when we get another fabulous home tour from designer Allyson Runnels. She recently worked with a family from Nashville to design a chic modern beach home. While the focus of the home is the direct access beach views, the interiors are fresh, comfortable, perfectly textured.
I have been fortunate enough to step into the homes of some very talented women who have done an excellent job of sourcing unique finds for their spaces. Many of whom are not trained designers, but have sharp senses and ways to scour for high-end finds. I think it is safe to say that this home tour with Elizabeth Cook in Columbus, Georgia will leave you inspired. Why pay full price, when you can have the Veranda look for less?!
