Beyond the Curb Home Tour with Jan Showers

Hi friends! It has been awhile since I posted. I can assure you there is a lot happening behind the scenes for The Potted Boxwood. I have been in the midst of a move, launching my dishware collection, getting the gift guide ready for the holidays, and filming home tours that are now ready to launch (you will even get to see my own home tour soon)!

So many of you have been ready for the home tours to begin again, and they are officially back!

Beyond the Curb with Lucinda Buford

The moment I met the darling family who lived in this historic home, I knew it had to be a tour on The Potted Boxwood.  I am actively involved in Preservation Park Cities, alongside Dallas real estate agent Lucinda Buford.  She was kind enough to take us through this incredible University Park home that was thoughtfully designed by the talented Bonnie Jones.

Beyond the Curb with Amity Gillespie by Davis Hawn Lumber

Some tours are extra special, especially when they are done with friends. This is why I am so excited to bring you another Beyond the Curb home tour with my friend Amity Gillespie. This tour is brought to us by Davis Hawn Lumber. Davis Hawn with Lynn Floyd Millwork created the exquisite custom front door, as well as the windows and doors in the sun room. You can see beautiful close-up details in the tour, as well as in the pictures below. Continue reading “Beyond the Curb with Amity Gillespie by Davis Hawn Lumber”

She recently worked with a family from Nashville to design a chic modern beach home. While the focus of the home is the direct access beach views, the interiors are fresh, comfortable, perfectly textured.

Beyond the Curb with Elizabeth Cook

I have been fortunate enough to step into the homes of some very talented women who have done an excellent job of sourcing unique finds for their spaces. Many of whom are not trained designers, but have sharp senses and ways to scour for high-end finds. I think it is safe to say that this home tour with Elizabeth Cook in Columbus, Georgia will leave you inspired. Why pay full price, when you can have the Veranda look for less?!

Beyond the Curb with Anna Fiascone

While I was in Hinsdale, I was fortunate enough to tour one of the most iconic homes in this charming Chicago suburb. Anna Fiascone took me through this colorful home that was once a dairy barn in 1898 for the house next door. In 1924, it was converted into a residence.  Despite a long history, the home is still perfectly functioning for a modern family- plus, full of charm!
